The model of care adopted at Lake Cathie Manor Aged Care is driven by our vision, mission, and values. It places our consumers at the
centre of our organisation, where they are the focal point for all decision-making. This wholistic approach to care undertaken at Lake
Cathie Manor is inclusive, proactive, strategic, and aligned to best practice. Wellness and reablement are the core pillars of our
care model. Both guide and steer the organisation on its journey with its consumers and care partners to provide the best possible
physical, mental, and emotional platform for the consumers to live in and call home. We recognise the frailty and ill health of the
consumers in our care, but we work with them to promote the best possible version of their lives through respect for their wishes,
engagement as directed by the consumer, interaction with the consumer and stakeholders, and reflective practice that focuses on best
practice principles.
